Service & Repair Centre, Storm-Damages, Test-Equipment (water ingress, ~$300,000)
Severe rain-fall from a storm-front caused the box-guttering in the building to overflow, leading to water entering the ceiling cavity of the Service Centre. Water and debris from the ceiling panels caused damage to the work-areas and the test-equipment therein. The on-site assessment and inspection of the test-equipment was performed. It was found and evidenced that one of the instruments claimed as damaged was indeed not damaged. The remainder of the claim was confirmed.
